About us
Established in Kuwait in 1972 as T.M.P. Agents, now known as Abu-Ghazaleh Intellectual Property (AGIP), the organization has played a pioneering role in developing Intellectual Property (IP) protection in the Arab region. AGIP has collaboratively worked with Arab governments and multilateral organizations to introduce an efficient IP system, fostering significant changes. This initiative has instilled confidence in multinational corporations to invest in the region, ensuring the protection of their intellectual assets. AGIP's commitment extends to supporting governmental committees, revising legislation, and drafting new laws for IP enforcement in various Arab countries. Actively engaged with international organizations, AGIP continues to contribute to the global discourse on IP through collaborations with WIPO, WTO, INTA, AIPPI, FICPI, and support for Arab NGOs like ASIP and LES-AC. Through training programs and publications, AGIP reinforces its dedication to promoting and protecting intellectual property in the Arab world.
