About us
In line with Qatar's commitment to human development outlined in the Qatar National Vision 2030, the Ministry of Education and Higher Education established the Community College of Qatar (CCQ). Launched in collaboration with Houston Community College in September 2010, CCQ has rapidly evolved into the country's fastest-growing institution, boasting a current enrollment of 5000 students across four campuses. CCQ's mission is multifaceted, offering 2-year academic programs for university transfers, 2 + 2 academic programs, and career-oriented courses addressing Qatar's workforce needs. The college, a vital component of Qatar's educational landscape, provides associate and bachelor degree programs, including Associate of Arts and Associate of Science degrees, 2+2 associate and bachelor's degree programs, and Applied Science degrees. Furthermore, CCQ facilitates seamless transitions to partnering local and international universities, ensuring students retain the validation of their coursework while pursuing higher education. The institution's commitment to comprehensive education and adaptability positions it as a cornerstone in Qatar's pursuit of academic excellence.
