Founded in 2008 as 'Designed by Fatma,' this signature brand by VCU Communications Art and Design graduate Fatma Al Kuwari initially catered to family and friends with personalized gifts, invitations, and card designs. In 2010, the brand, renamed Gifts by Fatma, ventured into the public sphere, specializing in creative packaging and offering special Ramadan and Eid gift boxes. These unique designs quickly gained popularity, with Garangao favor boxes selling 10,000 units in just three days. In 2011, @By_Fatma was born on Instagram, serving as a platform to showcase Fatma's designs and creations while pursuing postgraduate studies in International Marketing and Communications in London. Today, Gifts by Fatma operates online and has a showroom in Porto Arabia, The Pearl. The brand celebrates Qatari life, culture, language, and people through its designs, blending traditional elements with a contemporary twist. The collection includes greeting cards, stationery, gift boxes, accessories, and home ware, all infused with heartfelt Arabic phrases. By Fatma also collaborates with other Qatari artists and designers, fostering a sense of community and artistic connection.
